Distribution Of Relief Item To Flood Families Of Rasuwa

The Rotary Club of Sainbu Bhainsepati received information that people affected by the recent floods and landslides in Rasuwa and Nuwakot were currently staying in various shelters in Kathmandu. According to the information received, approximately 350 people from Haku Besi, Rasuwa, were taking shelter in the Swayambhu and Tarkeshwor areasand were in immediate need of food and other essential supplies. In response to this urgent situation, the Rotary Club of Sainbu Bhainsepati organized a Relief Item Distribution Program to provide immediate food assistance to the affected families. The Club arranged essential food items including 5–6 sacks of rice, 20 kg of lentils (dal), onions, potatoes, chickpeas, green peas, cooking spices, one box of cooking oil, Vegetables , Fruits and other necessary food supplies. The Rotarians and volunteers gathered at Chaarghare Ghantaghar at 3:00 PM and proceeded together to Yellow Gumba, Swayambhu, where the relief items were distributed to the flood and landslide affected families. This initiative reflected the spirit of “Service Above Self” and demonstrated the Club’s commitment to supporting vulnerable communities and providing timely humanitarian assistance during difficult circumstances.
